Free at Last, I am Free at last

Yes, it's a quote from Martin Luther King Jr.'s great speech to the masses that ever so eloquently denounced the use of segregation and prejudice, and built up the standard of judgment and acceptance of people based upon their character. But, few ever stop to think about how true those words can be, to some one who has lost it all, and was then given many more new and wonderful gifts; as a sort of equivalent exchange for what he had lost.
This is the case of my life, I had lost it all. But, all that I lost was a mere payment for the joy and tranquility that I enjoy now.I have the love of the most wonderful and beautiful woman in the world, the ever enduring grace of the God I serve, and the ceaseless freedom provided by the bounties of this amazing country I live in. In the simplest of words, life is surely good, and I have no right to complain. I am free at last from my past and it's accompanying pains. Surely, life has been good to us all, if we merely place down our preconceived ideas of hate, judgment, and dishonesty; we could all see it so clearly.
If we can judge life by it's character, just as we should judge all things, we would all see that we have a gracious and loving God, and life is good in even the worst of situations.
